Started with Ryobi power tools over two years ago but did not know how to start this project. Got ideas from the website and others for flooring and desk building and upgraded to the High capacity 18v drill/impact drill/regular drill/circular saw/etc combo kit, and just as I started got the miter saw with stand to make it easier to cut the wood that I needed. Added a nailer and the project started to take off. Had to replace some studs by the window then started the drywall with ease using the nail gun and the drill. I was doing this mostly by myself which the tools were my biggest help.
The cuts were easy to make with the miter saw when using it for the floor and the shelves. If it wasn't for the nailer I would still be working on this project. I'm not a real experienced DIY person but I would say I do know how to do some things, yet this made the work so much easier. I only worked on weekends and was able to get more done in less time than I expected.
The trim and crown molding angle cuts were easy using the preset angles of the Miter saw, then the nail gun allow ease of use to install. This came out so good that I can't wait for the next project.
