Brian and I were setting up a guest room and I decided that I wanted to make the set. I search for plans that I thought I could follow that had an accurate list of the items needed and also had a finished country look. This is the first project that we have undertaken from scratch. We did not have a Kreg jig at the time so all the "pocket holes" were done with a drill... Some went better than others! I was surprised at how much I enjoyed working on the project from start to finish and love the final result! The walnut stain on the pine and waines coat turned out great. All out guests are amazed not only that we made it, that were were able to work together and how great that it looks! (We have a Kreg jig now!)
