In keeping with my Halloween building theme as of late.......What cemetary would be complete without some walls? After seeing a few ideas working with foam online, I thought I would take a shot at building my own faux rock walls.
The 1 inch foam that was used comes in 4x8 foot sheets. I was able to make 4 - 16 inch x 8 foot sections from a single sheet (only two pictured in the photos). The frames only take a few minutes to make. The bulk of the time was used melting the foam with a handheld butane torch to give the appearance of stone and grout. It takes approximately four hours to cut, carve, assemble and paint two 8 foot sections (excluding the small pillars pictured).
