super easy desk made from Dimensional Lumber from Home Depot. Used pocket holes for most of the build. added a few accessories like a drop down USB and outlet for charging phones and/or tablets and a slide out key board tray. Took no time to assemble the wood but took hours and hours of sanding. Started off with 80 grit, then 120, 220, and then 400 grit. then did 9 coats of wipe on poly giving it 24 to cure. Sanded it lightly with 400 grit sand paper glued to a scrap 2x4 between each coat. finished it off with a coconut oil and beeswax polish.
