grilling side table

We needed a table to have right next to the grill to place condiments on while grilling with family and friends, so I decided to make this one from pallet wood and made it somewhat high which is perfect for my height. I had to work with very limited tools since I just started woodworking in July from this year. This would be my 2nd project. The reactions have left people surprised considering I am a newbie. I learned that a large amount of hard work is on dismantling the pallets lol, and everything else goes smooth with a very well thought out plan.

Awesome design! It really is surprising that you've only been woodworking for a relatively short amount of time. Were there any unexpected challenges with this piece (aside from the laborious process of reclaiming the wood, that is)?

Thanks! Yes, nailing the boards to connect in the middle 2x4 was hard since it was a tight space and I wanted both to have a strong hold. I wanted to use a sheet of plywood but all the scraps I have lying around weren't to my desired size. So I use extra 2x4's that I dismantled from another pallet.
