My home lacks a garage and with only a 1/2 basement to store things like mowers, other yard tools and bicycles, I needed a shed. So I designed this shed to use an old cement pad where a dog kennel use to sit. I wanted the shed to tie into my house architectually, but have modern style windows and have a green roof of sedums to slow the run-off and soften the top edge. The biggest challenge for me was that this was my first stick-framed construction project and I had a big learning curve. Drawing up some rough plans to start with helped me along the process.
