Gray wash dining table and benches

  • March 15, 2018

This table is made from pine. The top was assembled using biscuit joints for alignment, and there are 4 parallel struts running the short length of the table for support. The base is two big rectangles, and is screwed into the table top. The benches are built in the same manner as the table, just on a smaller scale.

The finish was done in 3 layers. A dark stain (Minwax Espresso) then a mix of gray stain and white latex paint for the wash, topped with a couple poly coats.

The table measures 3'x5'
