Got to start somewhere, The Work Bench

I love building things out of wood. I have been increasing finding myself doing more and more projects. I was tired of working on the floor. It's time for a work bench. I didn't want to just slap some 2x4's together and hope the bench would work out. I researched some designs I could follow. I found a design on ana-white.com. I added a lowered platform on the side for my Roybi chop saw too. I was surprised how easy it was to make and by how much wood it took. Luckily 90% of the wood was free I got from my boss remodeling his office and waiting room. I also used a kreg jig to make it look awesome. Since I built it in my dad's basement and for him to use as well he was quite happy how it tured out. Since building the work bench I have found that I have been wanting to complete more and more projects. I now have a space to take pride in and enjoy.
