Gold rush Powder coating Texas style

Since I was Texas born my wife bought these but I did not like the black or rusty look for the game room or front entry. So I powder coated these with Gold vein powder. The trick to this is all in the preparation, first depending on the metal you either sand blast or scrub with scouring pads and lacquer thinner, then soap and water, and make sure you rinse thoroughly. Then what I like to use is automotive metal prep wipe it on then when it dries to a haze wipe it down, now you are ready to powder coat. The second trick is knowing depending on what kind of metal you are working with is adjusting the temperature to set the oven on and how long to leave it in.
