GATE for BOW WOW BILLIE'S

My friend owns a dog grooming facility and needed a gate that would better keep the dogs from tearing down. She had a child's gate there before. The decor of the shop is black and red. I used cedar picket fence slats and pine wood for the rest. I bought a fence kit to keep the gate from tilting down. I hammer drilled some plates I found to the concrete floor and attached to the wood post. I primed the wood with Kiltz Primer and used black and red paint, then put two coats of poly. She has been using it for a while and it is holding up very well.

  • Excellent work! Your friend is lucky to have a handy DIY-er like yourself around. Great work on the paint, too- it really goes nicely with the shop's decor!
