game cabinet

I built this cabinet, at the reqest of my wife, to hold board games, batteries, light bulbs and other miscellaneous clutter in the living room. It is made from oak veneer plywood and red oak that I had milled from trees removed from my yard where the vegetable garden now grows. The project took a few years from start to finish. I got put on the honey-do list and I sketched various plans until we decided what would suit our needs. The boards from the trees took over a year to dry enough to be used. I used my Ryobi cordless circular saw to cut boards to length to make them more manageable in my small shop and used my Ryobi cordless drill to drill holes for dowels and to drive screws where needed.
