We have always hated having to shovel the snow from our front porch and getting rained on while trying to unlock the front door. So we built this roof over the front porch. The tricky part was how to build it and have it look good. We thought about just coming out with a flat roof because it would have been so much easier but the looks were not there for me. So we went with the same pitch and that made it more difficult but we are happy now that we did.
