This is a flag that I made for the Fourth of July. I wanted something that was patriotic that would fit on a bare wall on the outside of my house. It is made from reclaimed pallets that I picked up from work. The slats are 1.5 inches by 40 inches. I painted them with semi-transparent stain. The star was something that my wife had lying around the house and I thought it would work just fine. It did.

  • Nice flag! What brand of stain did you use, and where did you get it? Thanks.

  • There is a robber! Tom Silva from the PBS show THIS OLD HOUSE made a better reclaimed pallet flag with more stars. He uses the expensive Festool tools.
