Two workbench tools in the space of one. Top of cart rotates between a sander and a scroll saw. The top is made of two 3/4" pieces of plywood with 1/2" plywood between the in two pieces to allow for the 1/2" steel rod that the top pivots on. While doing the glue up I ran out of glue, in hind site I would have glued the 1/2" pieces to one 3/4" piece and waited for that to dry before putting the other 3/4" side on. It was a challenge to keep everything lined up when gluing it all at once.

    • I saw something similar by 'DIY Tyler' and others on youtube and then adapted different ideas from each into this design that I felt would work best in my situation.

    By Jamie oo7, on February 5, 2018
    • I did draw it up in Sketchup to give me the general dimensions but had to tweak thing to use up left over wood. I can share the Sketchup files if you would like.

  • Perfect! I need some drawers in our life for the workbench... I hate having all our Ryobi tools in a bag.
