This is my first attempt at making a spoon...i have made a few cutting boards so i have some left over wood and decided to try and make a spoon...i cut out the spoon with my band saw and used my sander to get the shape i wanted...then used my dremel to carve out the bowl of the spoon and then did a lot of hand sanding to get it smoothed...the finish will be mineral oil i purchased at the drug store since its food grade and safe....plus way cheaper the butcher block oil...

  • Looks great! You'd never guess this was a first attempt. What kind of wood did you use for this?
