This project began when my wife decided to give away our table to her brother. Fun and tools for me! I located the plans on Pinterest and proceeded to obtain all the necessary materials. I began by cutting all the pieces to the proper dimensions. The pieces the base together, then the top. I learned a great deal about wood as this was my first project: sand properly and not haphazardly as all mistakes show up under stain and poly; I will also explore other alternatives to pocket screws as the top began warping up as I stained and finished the table; I also learned when to use a belt sander vs hand sander as I took way too much of a corner off; biggest lesson - measure twice, cut once.
