A customer came to me for a decorative table for her hallway in the style of “Country-reclaimed-shabby-chic” . After a bit of collaboration we came up with this design. I’ll say that the hardest part was “distressing” my perfect paint job. It was counter intuitive to go back over it and destroy parts of it to obtain the look the customer wanted, but in the end, I really liked it. Before I painted it I started the wood with a Briaroak color to enhance the contrast.
