I purchased a new home about 3 years ago. I re-carpeted the whole house before I moved in, but left my extra bedroom untouched as I knew I would eventually do something to fix it up. I have been watching the price of laminate flooring and found a great deal for "Black Friday". The laminate was $.49/sq. ft. I ripped out the old dirty, ugly green carpet one day, repainted the room the next day, and installed a laminate floor. I LOVE the finished product ;)
