Altered S2C’s “3Tool Console Table” to fit my space and used scrap lumber I had on hand (1x2’s, 1x3’s, 1x4’s). The frame and legs I made from 1x4’s. The top and bottom slats were constructed with 1x2’s and 1x3’s. After assembling, I applied a coat of Rust-Oleum “Weathered Gray” stain and followed that with 2 coats of Minwax poly in a clear satin (with a light sanding b/t coats of poly). I spray painted my casters and brackets with a Rust-Oleum satin “Canyon Black”. For this being my first project, I think it turned out pretty good.....great starter project! I worked on it on and off probably for a total of approx 18 hrs.
