Entertainment Center and Windowseat with storage

Our split entry, circa 1979 has been the site of upgrade over the past two years. Over the past 3 months we have built a custom entertainment center including bookcases, cabinets with hidden AV components controlled by an IR receiver, and a window seat that contains four drawers for addition storage. Window trim has also been upgraded. All carpentry was done in house with no premade materials. Non Roybi tools include a vintage 1972 delta 34-600 8" table saw.

For Choose Your Challenge: You can build carcass or use prebuilt cabinets, project must be include storage and bookcases options and to have fun. Time limit: 1 month.

Wow! What an amazing turnout! This looks absolutely stunning, and it's got storage space galore. You did a beautiful job tying the elements together- even down to the window frames. Awesome work!

Thanks! I've built something similar before for our townhouse, but nothing to this scale.

This is beautiful. I am about to take on a similar project, just scaled down. Hopefully it looks as professional as the work you've completed.
