Elementree Forest Grill

As the exhibits lead at The Children's Museum I have been updating our Gingerbread Forest into the Elementree Forest for the spring. One of the elements we wanted to add was a grill for visitors to play pretend with, but all off the shelf options were made of cardboard, which is far from durable, so using my Ryobi arsenal I crafted a grill visually pleasing and durable enough for many excited hands and people.

    • Always an entertaining day as the Animal Curator and exhibits lead at The Children’s Museum. Yesterday it was grilling and today it was reframing the door to our Snapper Lodge, and cleaning out our 35lb common snapping turtles pond.

  • Very nicely done! We would have loved this when we were kids!
