Dueling Dragon light boxes

I stumbled upon some great glass front cabinet doors at a local thrift store while in the process of redoing my sons room in a TaeKwonDo theme. The doors sort of reminded me of a japanese screen and I immediately knew I wanted to do something with them for his room. After a day of debating, I decided to turn them into light boxes that hung on his wall with dueling dragons on them, so it was kind of like seeing 2 dragons fight it out outside of windows.
My son and I sat down and found 2 dragon clipart pieces we liked and I set out to painting. After dry, I frosted over the glass, built out the frames and built a box which would house the LED lights that shined through. My son loves his new artwork and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
