Dog House

I made a washer and dryer stand for our front loaders. I had a some left over wood and our yorkie kept pestering us for a new dog house, an upgrade from her cardboard box house. The house is simple, I googled a few images to figure out how I wanted to do it and knocked out the house. The house was made to be outdoors but we leave it indoors in the corner of our bedroom. The house has shingles and carpet left over from the house being built. The porch has hard wood floors made from a 2x4 that is split into thin pieces, glued and nailed down, covered in clear coat. The flower box under the window, as well as the shutters, are thin pieces from a 2x4 cut with the circular saw. Our dog sleeps in the house just about every night and during the day during naps. It also is one of her hiding spots for those loud storms. The house turned out very nice for one of my first projects.
