DIY Shadowbox Mirror

Our powder room needed a bit of a facelift in time for the onslaught of guests for the Holiday Season. To quickly give our room a pickup, we headed to the workshop and created this custom shadowbox mirror. Maple 1x3 was used for the shadowbox frame, paired with a common square mirror from the bigbox store. Using the Ryobi 18V ONE+™ Cordless Brad Nailer and some wood cut with a miter saw we made quick work of putting the frame together. The mirror was attached to a piece of 1/4" plywood, which was attached to the frame with some glue and the trusty Cordless Brad Nailer again. All told, a few hours of work, and we have a custom high end mirror to add a touch of class to our powder room.
