Cut List Game 12 – 2” round dowel x 6” long with 45 deg miter cut on one end 1 – 2” round dowel x 9” long Box 2 – 1” x 4” x 10” pine board 2 – 1” x 4” x 8 ½” pine board 2 – 1” x 4” x 7” pine board Note: It is difficult to find the exact diameter of wood for the official game size, but even the modified version will keep you entertained for hours. I used readily available 2” dowels for this project, but a $4 landscaping timber would be a cheap substitute. Official size: wood diameter 5.5 cm (2.17 inch), baton length 22.5 cm (8.86 inch), skittle length 15 cm (5.91 inch)

    2. Step: 2

      Large 278b533c e71c 448b aed8 58c3f8a8ebc7

Cut the round dowels into the 12 skittles (6” pieces with 45 deg tops) and 1 baton (9” piece). Cut the pieces for the storage box from a 1x4. Lightly sand any rough edges on the dowels and box pieces.

    3. Step: 3

      Large 0c5be235 9598 4c2d 9ffd 9aac3c987e25

On the 6” pieces, paint numbers (1-12) on the diagonal cut area. (A stencil may be helpful for this step.)

    4. Step: 4

Storage box assembly Place the 8 ½” box pieces side by side and attach the ends to the 7” side pieces with wood glue and 1 ½” - 2” brad nails.

      Large 9deb24df ba24 4a0e ac70 2897f39080fd

Attach the 10” side pieces to the side and bottom with wood glue and 1 ½” – 2” brad nails.

Here is a skittle placement guide. It can also be used for a stencil/template to paint the numbers on the skittles. Enjoy the game!
