DIY Garden Arbor

I built this garden arbor by modifying plans from The Family Handyman magazine. I needed something to transition between a lattice enclosure and a split rail fence on top of a retaining wall (I built all of those as well) and this worked perfectly. I later added a huge custom gate. It is a functional showpiece and I love it. You can find out more by reading my post at http://smartgirlsdiy.com/2014/02/diy-garden-arbor/

  • Original plans are from Family Handyman, but the gate is custom. All the details are on my blog... http://smartgirlsdiy.com/2014/02/diy-garden-arbor/
