I wanted to have a bench for my dining table to be able to seat more kids, about seven instead of three. I couldn't find one this length to buy at a reasonable price. I got the plans from AnaWhite.com and adjusted them to be 88" long and I wanted the breadcrumbs shorter. I also wanted the seat to be 10 3/4" width instead of 14 1/2. I bought a kreg jig and learned how to use that, along with a miter saw. It was finished just in time for Thanksgiving that I hosted. Not including tools, it cost just under $45.00! This was a good project to learn on. I now have a list of projects I want to make.
