This Wooden Block Pumpkin 𝘘𝘶𝘪𝘤𝘬 𝘋𝘐𝘠 will add the perfect not-so-spooky touch to your Halloween-inspired decorating!

Tools

  • 18V ONE+ Dual Temperature Glue Gun
  • 18V ONE+ 7-1/4" Sliding Compound Miter Saw
  • 18V ONE+ HP Brushless 7-1/4" Circular saw
  • 18V ONE+ HP Brushless 1/2" Drill/Driver
  • 18V ONE+ 5" Random Orbit Sander

Materials

  • 1" Dowel
  • 1" Spade Bit
  • 2"x4" Wood Board
  • Spray Paint
  • Wood Glue

Steps

STEP 1

Cut your 2x4 to make 5 individual blocks with two 6" pieces, two 7" pieces, and one 8" piece. Cut dowel to 1-1/2."

STEP 2

Sand down each piece of wood. Drill a 1/4" deep hole into the top of one of the 6" blocks using your 1" Wood-boring Spade Bit.

STEP 3

Glue all 5 pieces together using wood glue and your glue gun. Place the 8" piece in the middle, 7" pieces on either side of the 8", and 6" pieces on the outsides. Then clamp together and let dry.

STEP 4

Secure the dowel to the top wood layer using hot glue and wood glue. Paint your pumpkin then sand down for a rustic look.
