Desk Makeup Makeover

I found this desk at a thrift store and I saw it's potential. I knew that it would be a simple project. I had never re-done a desk before - or any other type of furniture for that matter. I was debating on whether I should remove the paint first with paint stripper but that can get kind of messy and it burns if it lands on your skin. I decided to do some sanding instead and borrowed my brothers Ryobi Sander and that did the trick! I then painted the desk and added new knobs and it looks great. One thing that I learned and will do on my next project is to 'primer' the desk first. I am proud of my little desk and I actually ended up selling it (i am trying to make some money to buy my own tools). It's bitter sweet because I loved that little desk but I know that with the right tools I can do so much more!
