I ordered my Ryobi Ultimate Combo Kit specifically for this project which I began on 22 July 13 and completed on 3 Oct 13. I built this project almost exclusively alone, with the exception of the occasional board holder etc.

My wife requested a deck around the pool to host outdoor parties, the main desk was originally designed as an oval 16' x 22' until my wife decided it wasn't worth the wasted material, also the main deck was increased to 20' x 22'. The lower deck by the ladder is 4' x 20' and the upper deck is 16' x 10' at pool level. Due to building on a budget, I built it in stages beginning with the post and main outside frame. I then added the joist, followed by the decking on the upper and lower decks as well as the ramp to the upper deck. Finally I finished by installing the steps, main deck material and railings. I used every tool in the ultimate combo kit to complete this project.
