My deck is very high off the ground , and , had no stairs to get out of the house to the backyard. When I bought this house, it was about the only thing I didn't like about it, and made it a priority project, not only for safety concerns, but convenience as well. After about one year in the house, I was able to purchase the materials for the project, which included my very nice Ryobi dual drill and impact hammer set. The drill made the deck screw installation a breeze and the impact hammer was a nice bonus.

  • Looks solid, well done! Were the stringers cut from 2x10s? Looks like they were a good 12 ft and 16 ft for each span.
