Custom Coop

My daughters and I decided to build a custom coop for our new chickens.
We tried to keep the design simple while maximizing all materials used.
The four sides of the coop were cut from a single 4'X8' sheet of plywood.
The coop design features the following:
- Hinged roof that allows full access for cleaning and gathering eggs
- A pull out floor pan for easy cleaning
- A large screened in run for the chickens to get fresh air and sunlight
- A screened in lower section under the coop to provide shade on hot days, this section also has a hinged side that allows easy access to the food and water.
We used the following Ryobi tools during construction:
- 18V cordless drill
- 18V circular saw
- 18V Jobplus with Multitool head (for flush cutting and sanding)
The Multitool was the perfect tool for cutting the corrugated roof panels
