Custom Closet

After a wall had been moved in a previous project, it was time to drywall, paint and trim the closet. After looking at some of the closet options out there I decided to build my own and make something that truly fit our closet size and our family needs. The main shelf unit in the middle is two 1x10 boards glued up to get the depth I wanted. It has both fixed and movable shelves. The upper left cabinet has sliding shelves for easy access. I also installed motion sensor lights above each side of the closet. Assembly I used a lot of pocket screw joinery and finished with a walnut gel stain and 3 coats of poly. My wife Loves it so I guess it was a success.
Thanks Ryobi!

  • Really super! I am in the process of remodeling my wife's make-up area, bath and walk-in closet. You did a great job.
