I went on line and found that the ACA (American Cornhole Association) had strict rules for Cornhole Boards. I decided to make a set rather then spending $175 to buy them. The frame is built by 2x4 that are Kiln dried from Lowes. The legs are 2x4 as well. I had to make the legs twice. I cut the legs without thinking about the 12 inch height requirement. First set were too short. I had to get creative on the design. I used Birch plywood. the dimensions are 24"W x 48"L. I used high gloss spray paint & poly urethane and used 800 grit sandpaper to make the surface smooth. This was a mistake as the Poly had to be redone due to the scuff the sandpaper created. I finished with 000 steel wool.
