Copper Pipe Drawer Pull
Got some leftover copper pipe & fittings? Make a few drawer pulls. It takes five pieces: A couple of 2 1/4" legs which are squished & bent in the bench vice, two 90-degree elbows and a 5-inch straight length all soldered together. It's best to sand & flux the joints and assemble the legs prior to bending to prevent distortion. Be careful soldering so your drips don't show, unless you want the Sloppy Plumber look. Grind corners and drill for an attachment screw...no bolting necessary. Modify by using Tee-fittings or different size pipe. Great for workshop, garage or custom projects.
