Convert Porch into Laundry Room

About a year ago, we moved into a fixer-upper. We've done a lot, but there is still so much to do. One project I really want to get done this year is converting the front porch into a laundry room. As you can see, we have a lot of work to do!

We stopped insulating when we realized the roof leaked and put the project on hold. The plan is to use our income tax refund to get the roof fixed so we can proceed with the rest of the remodel. We will not be doing the roof ourselves. We are really novices at all of this DIY stuff and want to make sure that it gets done right.

Once that's done, we'll finish insulating and put up drywall. The washer is hooked up, but we still need a gas hookup for the dryer. We plan to have a lot of table space for folding clothes and keep our recycling bins under the tables.
