Combination Miter Saw/Table Saw/Router Bench on Wheels!

This was the first thing I made in my workshop... As I needed a place to do the work as I made my completed shop! I put locking wheels on it too, so I can easily move it around the shop (my garage) or even take it outside into the driveway as needed.

It has a spot for my miter saw, table saw, and I planned ahead and left a space for a future router. The space for the table saw is much bigger than I needed, but that was on purpose incase I ever upgrade to a larger one thats wider (the wood base can easily be made higher or lower also).

I don't think I'm 100% done with it, I see room for improvements that I can't wait to get to.

  • Nice bench. Like how you are planning out for the future with the router and larger table saw.

  • I love the idea of an attached multipurpose outfeed table!

  • That's exactly how i wanted to have mine set up for the table n miter saw. Around how much did it cost you on the wood?

    • I got a little lucky that I already had some scrap wood (mostly the plywood and Masonite), I just had to buy 2x4s. But it was definitely under $100. And honestly, I think I over built it a bit, I could've gone with a single peice in places I used 2, and could've used 2x2s in some places too, to save money. But still not that expensive. The laminate sheet was the most expensive single thing.

  • I like this idea of yours. What is the dimensions of your table top?

  • Very nice setup! Where could I find plans for something similar to what you built? That would save so much room in my garage..

    • No plans, I just winged it. I wish I had planned better, lol, but I am going back and adding drawers... I always love using all available space

    • Well I think winging it worked out great for you! That is a very nice project. I'm going to try my hand at something similar but I think I'm going to have to find plans to follow so I don't end up with a chicken coup instead of a miter saw / table saw table. Can you tell I'm still learning? lol.. Great work on this though....
