Coffee Table makeover

I had a coffee table that needed updating but was unable to stain the top of the table. I decided to make a new top and attach it to the existing top. I used 1x4's cutting each end at a 45 degree angle. I trimmed the edges with a 1x1 furring strip. Each board was nailed down using a nail gun. After filling the nail holes and sanding, I stained the top and painted the bottom. You can see more at www.fortledbetter.com
