Classical guitar

I built this guitar as a challenge to myself. I've discovered that guitar building easily becomes an addiction. It's body is quarter- sawn sycamore. The top is red cedar. The binding is purpleheart. The neck is sapele and purpleheart. Surprisingly, it sounds really good. The best part is seeing my daughter play it.
I did not use any specialty tools, just normal woodshop stuff. Table saw, band saw, planer, a homemade form to bend the sides .

  • This is so beautiful and unique! Is this your first time building a guitar?
By RYOBI NATION, on August 21, 2018
    • Thank you so much.   This is actually my second guitar.   I've only built the two.  I'm getting pictures together to post my first.  It's been fun and educational.  I've learned a lot about patience building this one. Thank you again for the kind words.

    • Hello Ryobi Nation,
I feel extremely fortunate and grateful for winning the United We Build contest for August with this guitar. I apologize if I seem impatient,  but I was wondering how/when I would be contacted about the prize. I have never won anything before so I guess my excitement is getting the best of me.  If you could let me know if I need to do anything,  I would appreciate it.
I'm really enjoying the site.  So much inspiration! Thanks for your time.

    • Thank you for the compliment! I really appreciate you taking the time to say that.  You should post your partscasters.  I'm a huge fan of strats and telies.  I'd love to see them.
