I'm a part time hobby woodworker. I wanted to build something for my wife that would last and be something we could pass on to our daughter. I saw this plan in a book I bought and decided on it. It took me about two months in my spare time. I built it using pine boards from a tree my father had cut down and sawn into rough boards. Dad also bought me a planer for my birthday so I was ready. I presented the cabinet to my wife for Christmas, she is very happy with it. It is special as well because Dad passed away shortly after it was finished with the wood he cut for me. I have 4 sisters and they have all put in requests for one. I think I have enough of Daddy's pine left to do them all. Thanks for the opportunity to share!
