Childrens Toy Boxes

I was asked to build 2 toy boxes for my cousin in-law. I decided to use construction grade wood (2x4's) for most of the boxes with plywood for the box panels. The 2x4's were milled down using a jointer, planer and a table saw. The biggest challenge was how to build the box lid out of 2x4's that I ripped in half so each piece of 2x4 yielded (2) .75" X 3" boards. I ended up building the lid with a biscuit jointer.
