A friend of mine is an assistant director at a child's daycare center. One of their wooden child's step stool was in need of repair. It had a lot of water damage in it. She was going to buy another one that would cost over $150. I told her I could build a new replica of the damaged one. Costing me $38 for supplies (3/4" Plywood and some other material), I built an almost identical step stool to the one I was replacing. When I brought the new step stool to the day care center, my friend, the assistant director, the director, and some other employees were all amazed how beautiful the new step stool turned out.
What surprised me during this build was that when you have the correct tools for the job, and a desire for something you love to do, anything is possible!
