  • What a cool project! It looks just like an arcade game. Did you add a slot for quarters? :)
By RYOBI Nation, on January 15, 2019
    • Thanks! I do have a coin slot but I have not added it yet. The one I found was silver and I’m still looking for an old school black one to add.

  • Epic! I've been looking to get into a project just like this, I already have a screen and the RetroPi built out / loaded up. Where did you find those controllers?

    • Thanks! It was really fun to build! I got them from

    • Thanks, yes they do and somehow it has made them want to put the toys away! Sweet victory haha.

  • That's a brilliant idea! Great storage, and the Dino foot is awesome! The paint detail and shading is very realistic too. Thank you for sharing!

  • Wow, that's an impressive build! You accomplished a lot here. Are you finding it has met your needs, and how much does your grandson love having his own special bed? Thank you for sharing!
By RYOBI Nation, on January 20, 2019
    • My grandson does, indeed, love his new bed and enjoys climbing in for nap time.  The extra storage space in the closet has been very helpful and has provided much more storage space than before, when boxes, bins, etc. had to go either on the floor or on the overhead shelf.  As for the bookshelf, it works great.  Problem is, it's full but we have more books that still need shelving.  I think it's time for a book sale!

  • Such a great gift idea! You've got to be their favorite uncle. Did you find a plan for this or design it yourself?
By RYOBI Nation, on December 28, 2018
    • Thanks! I found a plan for this online and loosely followed it.

  • My grand kids would love this, nice job.

    • Thanks! It was a fun build and the kids absolutely loved getting one each. As the pictures show, I made a bunch of them!
