Decided the sunnier part of the yard required an area designated for container gardening. Had just purchased my Ryobi 40V Lithium-Ion string trimmer, for my birthday, and while trimming the yard, decided to move forward to developing the sunny area. Used the edger attachment to make a straight line, and then proceeded to trim the grass to the ground in the whole rectangle area. Laid out landscape fabric, and laid bricks down on the edges to hold fabric. Filled the center with mulch, a large plant stand, solar gazing ball that changes colors at night, and a few plant containers. The reason this area is very special to me is because I was able to use a brick collection that my parents accumulated over the years. All of the bricks have the factory name or customer name embedded on the brick. Some of the bricks date to 1901. Will always think of my parents while enjoying this beautiful garden. Garden was made easily using my new trimmer!
