Brianna Shelving

My daughter, Brianna, had a particle board shelving unit that fell apart. She wanted something similar but better quality. I used wood from a fence I took down for my brother and aluminum angle bars to make this shelving unit. I used oil rubbed bronze spray paint on the bars and screws. Because the wood has been out in the weather for years, it's a little fragile. So, I used Danish oil for the finish.

  • Very nice. How are the shelves being held up?

  • Thanks! There are two screws where each shelf attaches to each of the aluminum bars. The second picture shows how the screws connect the shelves to the bars.
