I wanted to build something for my 10 year old step son that he could use now for his toys and something that he could use when he goes off to college. And maybe one day past down to his kids. So I told my wife what I was thinking and she loved the ideal. So I started building the toy box and my step son came into my workshop asking what I was building and I told him that I was building him a toy box for now and a chest that he could take off to college one day and could past it down the road and he was so amazed by the ideal. I let him know when I was done with it and he loves it he couldn't wait to put his toys in it.

  • What a great idea! This will be something your son will get a lot of use out of for years to come!

    • Thank you every much ryobi nation. He really loves the toy box even though I still have to stain it and seal it once it warms up outside. I upload the finished pictures once I am 100%. We have cats and I didn't want to get them sick from the smell from the sealer in the house and with the weather being cold here I can't really take it outside until late march/April
