THESE BOOKS WERE WATER DAMAGED!!!!!!! I DONT CONDONE DESTROYING BOOKS!!!!!!!!!! I FOUND SOME WATER DAMAGED BOOKS THAT NO ONE WOULD WANT TO READ. THATS THE HARDEST PART OF THIS PROJECT. I CUT ALL THE BOOKS, THEN SUN BATHED THEM FOR A FOR DAYS TO DRY THEM AND TAKE ANY SMELL OUT. PEOPLE FROWN UPON DESTROYING BOOKS SO TRY TO FIND DAMAGED ONES IF YOU CAN. cutting the books is not fun! but if you have a- table saw, shopvac, and a dust mask it can be done. hook up your shop vac to the saw, put on you dust mask. IF YOU TRY TO CUT THESE IN A CLOSED AREA WITHOUT A SHOPVAC AND MASK YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BREATH!!! I KNOW CAUSE I DID IT.

  • I have been trying to get a hidden bookcase door made for the storage room under my stairs for quite awhile now but with no luck as the price has been at least 1200 dollars and up, but seeing your design has given me hope again!! I voted for your project cuz I think its fantastic and very creative, but I was wondering if you would be able to send me more detailed instructions on how to build it, like hinges you used, etc, etc. I would very much appreciate your help. I just love the door!!
