My girl friend wanted a shelf in our sons room for bins so he can keep his room a little more tidy, so we did what every one does and went to ikea to find one. But when getting there i saw that a small one is about $90 which is crazy for pressed wood.
So i got an idea to make one with the wood my father dropped of at my door step months ago which my girlfriend wanted me to get ride of, the wood was the top of deck whcih a customer had painted and didnt like it but the wood was only two years old.
Im always making stuff so my dad kept all the wood for me and even all the wood screws.
So i made a shelf out of old deck wood 2'x6' and used screws its not the most impressive but its funitial and only cost me $30 to build and that for the 12 bins i bought at ikea.
