Started with recycled pallet wood. Upcycled pallets cutting with ryobi battery skill saw. Sanded each slat with ryobi detail sander, rounding corners. Used Ryobi belt sander to even out slats and corners. More sanding with detail sander and hand sanding. Assembled slats, drilled out holes with Ryobi battery drill and long drill bits. Applied three coats of polyurethane. Routered out my son and daughter in laws names on each end. Original use was going to be an out door bench, they liked finished product so much they decided it must stay indors as their coffee table.

    • Tried to talk them out of it, it has a finish that can withstand the weather but they insisted.  Thank you for your comment.

    • Thank you for the feedback.  Best part of woodworking is adding a finish to wood to see how the wood transforms!
