I live in a very rural area with limited access to many things. I don't have very much furniture and the one thing missing is a decent dining table. I don't have a vehicle that can transport anything large, and shipping things that are large can be expensive. So I've been building my own table. It's my first attempt at wood working, but needed something I could work on. I had this old hand made computer desk I using, but it just didn't have the room, nor the leverage to work on. So, decided to build this workbench first. It gave me a chance to get more comfortable with the tools that I do have at my disposal, and ideas for a more permanent workbench down the line.

  • Brilliant idea to start with a workbench, @GRCAChris! Looks great, and we dig that you added the power strip. Enjoy your table build!
